Member of the Month-January 2023

Consistency is key in achieving all kinds of success. In health and fitness, life tends to get in the more often due to significant priorities such as family, work and social life. Although it is agreed that such aspects of life are important we tend to use that as an excuse to neglect our fitness goals. Angelica is a perfect example of how being busy shouldn't stop you to keep up with your health and fitness. Like many of us she has a full time job, she’s a full time mother and is highly involved in her son's extra curricular activities. Despite her busy schedule she beats the sun and works out early and consecutively. Fighting through injuries and life’s struggles, she stays disciplined and gets the job done even when she doesn’t have the motivation to do so. Hence the saying “When motivation is lacking, be consistent”. Although for some, such behavior can seem a little extreme, but waking up early and getting your workout done puts you first and gives you a sense of accomplishment and autonomy. We are proud of having a member with such grit in the gym to show us that anything and everything is possible
