Member of the Month- August 2023

Accumulative gym visits most of the time equate to greater results, however, taking a more proactive approach in one's diet and adopting positive behaviors such as sleep and rehydration can be more beneficial. For the month of August, we would like to highlight Jorge Ramirez-Torres' success. Jorge joined the gym in June with a weight loss intent. Understanding that he would need some accountabilitylo and guidance, he hired Melanie to be his trainer. Relentlessly, Jorge has been crushing through every workout. Although the first three weeks were rough, he has not given up . In an attempt to increase his conditioning, he joined the running class and now he is one of the runners we count on to bring back the “Fastest Gym” title in this year's Run with Los Muertos 5K. Jorge also adopted positive behaviors outside the gym such as portion control, food choice, and stress management. Currently, Jorge has lost over 20 pounds in two months and is now looking to take his physique to the next level. We are really proud of Jorge and all the hard work he has put in in the last months and we look forward to his future fitness accomplishments.
